Conditions for Hire of Community Facilities
Definitions:
The following definitions apply to the hire of all community facilities (not under a lease) unless otherwise stated.
Availability: up to midnight. All amplified music is to cease by 10.30pm and the facility cleaned and vacated by midnight.
Function Fee:All casual*/function bookings on a Friday or Saturday eg birthday parties, christenings, meetings, concerts, dances.
Standard Fee:Is charged for all casual* bookings from Sunday to Thursday inclusive unless a discount fee applies.
*Casual hirer – one- off event/function eg birthday parties, christenings, meetings, concerts, dances etc.Regular hirer – multiply bookings per year min 6 eg, dance classes, tutoring, fitness lessons etc.
Discount Fee:Is 50% off the Standard Fee. A Certificate of Incorporation will need to be produced as proof of Not For Profit status. It is not applicable for government organisations, schools, or other organisations that are funded for facility hire or derive an income from the activities.
Cancellation Fees:

for bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours notice - full usage fee will be charged.

for bookings cancelled with 48 hours to one weeks notice - 50% of usage fee will be charged.

for bookings cancelled with one to two weeks notice - 25% of usage fee will be charged.
