- Role of the Treasurer
- Maintaining accurate records of public money from the use/hire of Community and Recreation facilities.
- Responsibilities

- Maintain and monitor accurate accounts of income and expenditure of public money
- Organise payment of accounts
- Reconcile petty cash monthly and arrange payment of petty cash to the Booking Officer
- Coordinate banking of public money with the Booking Officer
- Reconcile receipts with bank deposits
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements to committee meetings
- Present an Income and Expenditure Statement to the Annual General Meeting
- Provide Council with an annual financial statement by 01 September, approved by a person with sound financial knowledge
- Provide information on cost and any other financial information for committee to make well-informed decisions
