Curating of Turf Cricket Wicket
The management and operational responsibilities associated with the curating of turf cricket wickets are undertaken by the club/association. It is a club activity which uses club plant and equipment and therefore will remain solely a club responsibility.
Council (as owners of the facility) will require that the club/association provide annually:
- A copy of their current Public Liability Insurance to cover the curating activities (whether they are a contractor or volunteer)
- Risk Assessment for the activity
- Work Method Statement for the activity
The curation of turf cricket wickets is not a responsibility of the Delegated Authority.
