Asbestos
Council volunteers manage facilities with amenities constructed over many years and therefore these buildings potentially contain ACM or Asbestos Containing Material.
Council continue to manage the risk of ACM in buildings through a program of asset replacement and renewal, however Facility Managers should continue to consider buildings as potentially containing ACM and contact Council immediately if exposed to damaged areas of a building.
Remember not to go near the damage, and wait for Council to provide direction.
